As a key member of our Pharmacy Consulting team under the Payor & Provider Solutions team, you will lead the growth of our Price List agreement program and Pharma engagement strategy.

We are seeking a highly skilled Pharma Engagement Lead to join our team, who is a highly motivated self-starter with an engaging and driven personality. In this role, the successful candidate will be responsible for driving Product Listing Agreements (PLA) strategy execution, project management, and process improvement. The Pharma Engagement Lead will work closely with our clients, internal teams, and stakeholders to develop and implement strategies that align with our client's business objectives and our growth targets.

You will proactively engage with customers to identify opportunities for improvement and manage collaborative relationships with numerous internal and external stakeholders to support program delivery. This role will help develop strategy and direction in the form of new programs to support the evolving needs of the marketplace. Responsibilities


  • Develop and execute a project plan to drive pharmaceutical partnership growth and achieve program targets
  • Negotiate and finalize product list agreements with pharmaceutical manufacturers, ensuring mutually beneficial terms and conditions
  • Navigate complex negotiations for product list agreements to drive value for private payor clients, while understanding the private payer market and the Pharmacy benefit management ecosystem
  • Identify and prospect potential pharmaceutical manufacturers for partnership opportunities
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders within pharmaceutical companies
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop compelling value propositions and customized solutions for pharmaceutical partners
  • Work with the team to conduct market research and analysis to identify target areas for negotiations, market trends, competitor activities, and potential growth opportunities
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments, regulatory changes, and emerging pharmaceutical products
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, legal, and operations, to ensure seamless execution of partnership agreements
  • Provide regular reports and updates on program activities, pipeline, and revenue forecasts to management
  • Collaborate with the Sales team to present and support the private payor clients
  • Produce high quality deliverables and assignments with direction from senior leaders to collect, analyze and effectively communicate project plan
  • Consistently delivers high quality work, meeting internal quality expectation and receiving high satisfaction rates

  • Have solid understanding of pharmacy benefit and pharmaceutical landscapes and program offerings within the pharmacy benefit management industry and experience in Price List Agreements
  • Have the ability to use your experience to take initiative in troubleshooting, allowing you to effectively and efficiently identify problems and apply appropriate solutions


Qualifications


  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a healthcare-related field
  • 5+ years of experience in a related Pharmaceutical, Pharmacy benefit management or insurer role
  • Strong understanding of the pharmaceutical landscape, including knowledge and experience with product list agreements, industry regulations, and pharmacy benefit management business
  • Experience with project management and process improvement
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence key stakeholders
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a strong drive to achieve program targets
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, Google Drive, Google sheets
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
