Data Scientist

Our client is currently seeking a Data Scientist to join their team, opportunity is available in QLD, ACT, VIC, NSW, TAS, SA, WA. Security clearance - Baseline required Contract Length – 24 months

• The application of mathematics, statistics, predictive modeling and machine learning techniques to discover meaningful patterns and knowledge in recorded data. Analysis of data with high volumes, velocities and variety (numbers, symbols, text, sound and image). Development of forward-looking, predictive, real-time, model-based insights to create value and drive effective decision-making. The identification, validation and exploitation of internal and external data sets generated from a diverse range of processes.
• Build, manage and optimise data pipelines using latest industry standards, data governance principles and code management practices, define how data can be initially staged and transformed, guide and support developing application frameworks, system integration and manage interface agreements. Build and maintain a cloud-based microservice platform for analytics deployment and model development.
