About The Role

Data & Analytics Engineering is currently in the early stages of creating specialized teams dedicated to Data Engineering & Data Infrastructure, Analytics Engineering, and Data Management. As a Data Engineer, you will play a significant role in strengthening the data aspect of the organization, collaborating with most parts of the bank. This is a broad role with multiple opportunities to grow and make a real impact that matters!

We offer a hybrid working model where the team has two common days in the office, currently Mondays and Thursdays. As much as we enjoy our flexibility, we also value the importance of coming together to further strengthen the collaboration in the team as well as meet up for fikas and after works!

Main Tasks

  • Classical data engineering tasks: Build efficient data pipelines, transform, and integrate data, design data models, ensure data quality in the pipeline, maintain security and compliance.
  • Execute data engineering processes, ensuring efficient data acquisition, transformation, and integration
  • Partner up and collaborate closely with internal functions such as Risk, Finance, IT, to ensure the business data needs are covered
  • Leverage your expertise in data engineering analytics to enhance data usage and accessibility across the organization.
  • Be part of technical improvement projects and other business projects to and implement new solutions.

We Are Looking For You Who Have

  • At least one year of work experience in a similar role within data, technical solutions and software development
  • An academic degree linked to data engineering and/or other data-related education, establishing your foundational knowledge
  • Proficiency in ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes and data logic, along with an understanding of how data is sourced, transformed, and presented to data users
  • Proficiency with Microsoft's data stack, both on-premises and/or in the cloud (SQL, Power BI, Azure, etc.)
  • Good knowledge in English and good understanding of Swedish and/or Norwegian language.

Experience In Any Of Below Is Considered a Plus

  • Experience in other Business intelligence and programming tools such as DBT, Python, etc.
  • Experience working in Azure cloud environment
  • Experience with data roles within the financial sector
  • Familiarity with agile and Scrum methodologies.

Form of employment: Permanent position, full time (we apply 6 moths probation period)
