Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the regulatory team to meticulously prepare and maintain Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and labels for food products, ensuring strict adherence to the Globally Harmonized System (GHS).
- Enter and manage data in SAP, meticulously following record-keeping procedures. Analyze formulation data for various food products, maintaining accuracy and compliance with FDA/USDA regulations. Populate a proprietary database with crucial information.
- Generate nutrition sheets for industrial customers
- Create nutrition sheets tailored for industrial customers, showcasing a deep understanding of Raw Material Specifications, GMO statements, SDS, Ingredient Statements, Nutritional Data Sheets, Nutrition Facts Panels, Percent Range Breakdowns, Allergen Sheets, Religious and Organic Certificates, and Request for Information (RFIs). Special attention to certifications such as gluten-free, non-GMO project, Rainforest Alliance, Kosher, and Halal.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nutrition, Food Science, Biology, Microbiology, Chemistry, or a related field is preferred.
- 0-2 years of experience in a food/beverage, pharmaceutical, or related industry.
- Detail-oriented with a keen eye for accuracy.
- Critical thinking skills to contribute to evidence-based decision-making.
- Proficient in data entry and management.
