Primary Responsibilities

  • Helps business users create optimal business requirements by exploring data and analytic alternatives and guiding users to the most cost-effective and efficient approach to meeting their needs. Translates internal/external client business requirements into actionable instructions for meeting client needs
  • Designs analytics (reports, dashboards, models) to respond to very complex requests. Develops advanced quantitative approaches (drawing on a range of methodologies) to address client needs
  • Performs strategic data mining and research to identify opportunities for improvement and otherwise support business needs
  • Contribute to all aspects of planning, analysis, design, and development of data management and analytics solutions
  • Use SQL or other tools to manipulate, manage, and analyze complex data for data quality analysis and other analytic purposes
  • Conducts complex statistical analyses (e.g., regression analysis, predictive modeling)
  • Ensures accuracy, data integrity, and face validity of all work
  • Writes reports with charts and graphs; presents to internal and client leadership; and summarizes findings and recommendations for technical/clinical and non-technical/ non-clinical audiences, as appropriate
  • Ensures all analyses use high-quality data. Develops a Solid understanding of data sources
  • Demonstrates the ability to multitask and manage many simultaneous projects and last-minute emergencies to meet deadlines while still maintaining Solid attention to detail
  • Creates documentation (such as code detail, report specifications, narrative backup, and metadata) for all outputs. Reviews documentation produced by junior analysts
  • Manage client and program engagements using governance models
  • Communicate results as well as their uncertainty and limitations effectively to technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Acquire understanding of US Healthcare domain
  • Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). Required Qualifications

  • Degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer science, Engineering, or related discipline
  • 2+ years of experience in data analytics, Data exploration and SQL
  • Deep knowledge of relational databases, and database structures and data analysis and hands-on in computer programming in Python, R or similar programming language
  • Knowledge of Azure, or similar cloud platforms
  • Solid mathematical skills to help collect, measure, organize, and analyze data
  • Exposure to BI visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, MS Excel, Power BI)
  • Ability to learn new technologies quickly
  • Proficiency in Microsoft tools including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Understanding of US healthcare Domain
  • Work experience in Agile/Scrum Methodology and Data Warehouse Concepts
  • Professional, service oriented, Proactive, and flexible
  • Proven excellent interpersonal and team skills
  • Proven excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Proven excellent problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while demonstrating good level of maturity
