We are looking for Senior Business Data Analyst from a Risk and Control background within financial services to join our team. The role will require travel 3 days per week to Belfast to collaborate with a broader team.

About the role
The scope and nature of the projects on which you’ll work will vary however, examples of duties/responsibilities include:
- The role works closely with Risk, Control and Compliance functions and central reporting teams;
- Responsible for senior management reporting;
- Using data to optimize processes;
- Liaising between risk management functions and technologists to prototype and define reporting and analytical requirements in a concise, logical, and understandable way;
- The role will require a strong ability to use and interpret data, including analytical, interpretive and problem-solving techniques;
- Work with and provide thought leadership and build consensus across multiple stakeholders
Qualifications & Experience
- Strong educational background – Degree (Masters would be an advantage)
- Experience within Risk and Controls functions
- Risk Management background
- Advanced Excel skills
- Tableau / SQL / Python would be an advantage
- Agile delivery knowledge
- Excellent communication skills across all levels of seniority
- Strong interpersonal skills, with good relationship building and engagement skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel, Word and PowerPoint
