Data Architect/ Senior Data Engineer

Job Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with business users/ data team to facilitate data consumption and automation
• Orchestrate, monitor and optimize data/ ETL processes on Azure
• Design data model, implement data pipeline/ query/ dashboard
• Implement data governance processes on data quality, integrity, documentation
• Proactively enhance data infrastructure/ processes with best practices and latest technologies

Requirements:

• Degree holder in Information Engineering/ Mathematics/ Computer Science or related discipline
• Minimum 5 years of solid experience in designing and managing end-to-end big-data data processes
• Expert in Python (spark/ pandas), delta & parquet, SQL
• Hands on experience in Azure data services including Synapse DW, Data Factory, Data Lake and Databricks
• Experience in the following would be an advantage:
  
• Machine Learning
• Power BI/ other Business Intelligence tools
• Microsoft Fabric, Synapse Serverless, Unity Catalog (Databricks), Lakehouse



• Strong problem-solving skills, agile, fast learner
• Passion in learning and applying state-of-the-art data engineering technology
• Proficient in written and spoken English and Chinese with strong communication skills
• Candidate with less experience will be considered as Senior Data Engineer
