I'm working with a London based AI startup making moves in the energy/net zero space. This company has a fantastic culture focused on increasing diversity in tech and providing its engineers with a platform to continuously develop their skills.You'll have an opportunity to expand your software engineering skills and gain exposure to the world of AI/ML including access to projects in computer vision and recommender systems.The roles are a hybrid mix of software engineering and ML and would suit those currently operating as a Backend Engineer but want to work alongside a talented group of ML Engineers.I'm looking for mid-level Engineers with a solid grasp of software engineering best practices and end-to-end ownership of algorithmic features (not necessarily ML) from conception through to production. You'll need to be proficient in good Python and possess natural problem solving abilities. Experience with GCP would be a nice little bonus.The company has just received a new round of funding so they're in a great spot financially and have a solid looking roadmap.The salary on offer is £45k - £65k and they're looking for someone willing to visit the London office 2-3 times a week.Essentials:

• A minimum of 2 years of Python development within a commercial setting (outside of academia)
• Strong grasp of software engineering best practices
• Understanding of OOP, design patters and algorithms
• Commercial experience with CI/CD (Docker), version control (GitHub), SQL
