Data Engineer Intern

Overview

We are seeking an ambitious Data Engineer Intern to join our Product Management team. This role is designed for students who are eager to apply their technical skills in a real-world product management context. The intern will work on integrating and managing data solutions that support product development and decision-making processes.

The internship requires to be onsite in Phoenix, AZ.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product managers and data scientists to design and build data architectures that support product initiatives
• Develop, construct, test, and maintain data pipelines and architectures aligned with business goals
• Implement data collection systems, data analytics, and other strategies that optimize data quality and efficiency
• Utilize programming skills in SQL, Python, or similar to manipulate data and draw insights from large data sets
• Document and maintain data systems and database designs for ongoing product projects
  
  

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field with a strong focus on data engineering
• Proficient in data manipulation languages and tools such as SQL, Python, and big data technologies
• Understanding of software engineering and data architecture principles
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic team environment
• Excellent communication skills to effectively share insights and technical details across functional teams
