Data Scientist - Medical Algorithm

This is an inside IR 35 contract - Pay is dependant on experience - Contract length 2 years.

Central London location with hybrid working available.

The ideal candidate's favourite words are learning, data, scale, and agility. You will leverage your strong collaboration skills and ability to extract valuable insights from highly complex data sets to ask the right questions and find the right answers.

The project is set for a minimum of 2 years and you'll be the lead Data Scientist who can help change the lives of millions of medical patients around the world. Analysing data that is collected 24 hours a day to help spot changes in patients' vitals signs that can lead to preventative measures.

Responsibilities

• Analyze raw data: assessing quality, cleansing, structuring for downstream processing
• Design accurate and scalable prediction algorithms
• Collaborate with engineering team to bring analytical prototypes to production
• Generate actionable insights for business improvements
  
  

Qualifications

• Strong Data Science experience
• Deep understanding of predictive modeling, machine-learning, clustering and classification techniques, and algorithms
• Commercial use of Artificial Intelligence (AI)
• Industry experience in the health care or pharmaceutical.
• Experience of taking research ideas and converting them into commercial solutions
• Fluency in a programming language (Python is preferred)
• Familiarity with Big Data frameworks and visualization tools (Cassandra, Hadoop, Spark, Tableau)
• Capability to work with High Velocity data coming from 24/7 monitoring of health care patients.
