What you'll do...

Introduction

As a Senior Data Scientist, you will be a Technical Lead on data science projects and work with key business stakeholders to identify problems and deliver insights that influence how we make decisions that have impact at scale. The On-demand Delivery team works on fulfilling customer demand for everything in the store at the comfort of their homes. We want our customers to have every option available to shop for their needs wherever, whenever, and however they want to. You will partner with cross-functional leads (business, product, engineering) to drive additional value to our customers and support our bottom line while we rapidly scale and expand.

You'll Make An Impact By

• Processing complicated and large-scale datasets using distributed computing platform, extracting insights from data, predicting future trends, and optimizing business metrics.
• Building advanced machine learning and deep learning models with various applications across the business
• Building compelling data visualizations and interactive dashboards for monitoring and sharing business insights
• Create alerting mechanism for behavioral insights
• Having strong cross-functional collaboration across product, business, engineering, and other stakeholders

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Machine Learning, Computer Science, Information Technology, Operations Research, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Econometrics or related field plus 4+ years experience in a machine learning/deep learning related field.
• Strong hands-on skills in sourcing, cleaning, manipulating, and analyzing large volumes of data using distributed computing platform and visualization tools (Python, R, SQL, Spark, Hive, Tableau etc.).
• Experienced with traditional as well as modern machine learning and statistical techniques, including A/B testing, Causal Inference, Regression, Classification, Ensemble Methods, Deep Learning, Natural Language Processing, and Reinforcement Learning.
• Experienced with end-to-end modeling projects emerging from research efforts.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.

The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00-$180,000.00

Additional Compensation Includes Annual Or Quarterly Performance Incentives.

Additional compensation for certain positions may also include:
