Job Category

We’re looking for an extremely smart Data Scientist to become a core member of the team that creates algorithms and predictive models for pricing, targeting, demand fulfillment, and fraud detection in our marketing platform. This role will work very closely with the VP of Email Operations to develop optimization strategies for our re-engagement campaigns and target the right consumers with the right Email at the right time.

Responsibilities:

  • Use your expertise in machine learning and statistical learning techniques such as classification and regression to produce models applicable to segmenting and targeting consumers with the objective of reducing complaints and increasing engagement.
  • Experiment and build models that improve the capabilities of our Email marketing platform and allow for increases in yield.
  • Work with our Engineering and Business teams to implement scalable, reliable and useful solutions for our various business units.
  • Run numerous experiments in a fast-paced, analytical culture so you can quickly learn and adapt your work.
  • Get the satisfaction of knowing that you helped connect millions of consumers to o the products and services they are searching for.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in software development and/or Machine Learning and Data Science experience.
  • MS in Computer Science or related area, or relevant work experience.
  • Deep experience in applied machine learning, statistical learning, and scalable computing, predictive modelling, Feature engineering, Data clearing.
  • Experience with both supervised and unsupervised learning on large datasets.
  • Succeed as an individual but to collaborate and strive for the success of your team.
  • Strong sense of ownership in everything you build.
  • Strong experience building production level code in Python. (Can write understandable and clean codes)
  • Deep learning or AI experience is not a requirement, but good to have in addition to strong ML and Python.
  • Should know ML APIs and how and why the model works.

Flexibility for occasional travel to different offices or events is essential to fulfill the duties of this role. This may include attending meetings, conferences, or training sessions, as well as collaborating with team members or partners in various locations. While travel requirements may vary, candidates should be prepared to engage in occasional travel as needed to support business objectives and foster professional relationships.
