Business Data Analyst

Are you an experienced Business Data Analyst with a passion for extracting valuable insights from complex datasets? Our client, a leading international internet services provider, is seeking a talented individual like you to join their dynamic team in Dublin.

As a Business Data Analyst, you will play a crucial role in providing actionable insights, and creating informative reports based on business data.

Your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of tasks including data extraction, governance, visualization, and analysis to support operational decision-making, product optimization, and business strategy development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and utilize advanced data mining techniques to extract meaningful information.
• Utilize SQL, R, Python, or other data analysis languages to analyse complex datasets and generate actionable insights.
• Work closely with Data Scientists to translate data into strategic approaches and communicate findings to managers and decision-makers.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve data quality, accuracy, and timeliness.

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience in Information Technology.
• 2+ years of experience in database analysis, data mining, and statistics.
• Proficiency in SQL, R, Python, or similar languages.
• Experience analysing complex datasets and translating them into strategic approaches.

Beneficial Skills:

• Previous experience with Hadoop, Hive.
• Experience in customer data analysis.
• Collaboration with product teams.
• Exposure to e-commerce or digital marketing/mobile applications.
• Professional working proficiency in Mandarin.

Conditions:

• Location: Dublin, Ireland.
• Model: Fully onsite.
• Contract: 12-months PAYE.
