Job Description:

  • Finance team would like to build a collaboration team between L&H and W&P to act as the Center of Excellence (CoE) for Tableau and Finance Data. Problem Statement: As data is getting more and complex, the Finance team is looking for a solution(s) to improve efficiency. Immediate Problem: IFRS17 requires up to date data that allows drill down in order to investigate issues. Solution: To leverage technologies such as Python and Tableau to build solutions in order to improve efficiencies, provide insights into data and build automations..

Responsibilities

  • Creation and long term maintenance of Tableau dashboards that allows finance teams to analysis data (including IFRS17 reporting) to discover gaps, issues and monitor changes
  • Upkeep of the Tableau and data governance process in order to become Tableau CoE within finance
  • Automate the data massage process by using tools such as Python and SQL before feeding it to Tableau (due to lack of data engineers in SL)
  • Communicate the data analysis clearly to management using different methods (statistical figures, creating new KPIs, data visualization using Tableau) in order to allow management to understand the business and make quicker decisions

Preferred Skills

  • Data analysis experiences for at least 4 years
  • Tableau or other visualization tools for 3 years
  • Knowledge in SQL for 4 years
  • Python writing (data and automation libraries related) for 2 years
  • Preferably knowledge in SAP

Qualifications

  • University graduate (preferably statistics, computer science, data science, data engineering, etc.)
  • Knowledge in Tableau is a must
  • Knowledge in Python is preferred
