We are looking for seasoned Data Scientist for our Client based in Johnson City, TN.

Responsibilities

This position is part of a special effort designed to improve company processes through the use of data science and optimization techniques.

Candidates should have at least 6 years of experience, a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related field, and be able to work in the US with no restrictions.

Additional Duties Include

• Experience with data collection, processing and analysis related to production processes as well as other core business processes.
• Augment and support efforts by the IT team to produce tools and technologies that serve to provide feedback to the company's key business and production processes.
• The ability to effectively communicate with key stakeholders and learn the company's production terminology and processes is paramount to building effective solutions in this role.
• Excellent skills and experience with database design and administration, optimization techniques and technology packages, business intelligence tools, and software development are required.
• In addition, some travel will be required including travel to industrial settings where adherence to company safety standards is mandatory.
