Position Summary:
- We are looking for a Data Engineer for Data Warehouse with good amount of experience on Informatica / Azure AWS Cloud Environment.
- The primary focus will be on translating business requirements into technical specifications, including data streams, integrations, transformations, databases, and data warehouses.
- Ensure that industry-accepted data architecture principles and standards are integrated and followed for modeling, stored procedures, replication, regulations, and security, among other concepts, to meet technical and business goals.
- Certified Azure data engineer with extensive knowledge on relational databases.
- 10+ years of experience with deep knowledge of SQL scripting.
- Expert knowledge in Data Modeling and Data Warehousing concepts.
- Data analysis and modeling tools (e.g. Power Designer, ERWin, ER/Studio).
- Exposure to Informatica and Azure services.
- Experience in code management with Git and Bit-Bucket.
- Know how to work with Git and GitFlow.
- Exposure to working with Analytics and Data Scientist is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Experience with team management.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Advanced troubleshooting skills.
- End-to-End project execution, requirement gathering, transforming legacy design to Cloud eco system.
- Development, Testing, UAT Support and GO Live support.
- Azure Stack, Informatica.
- Modeling Tools – ER/Studio 16.x, SQL Power Architect.
- Databases – Oracle 10g/11g, SQL Server, Teradata.
- ETL/BI Tools - QlikView, QuickSight, Power BI.
- Scripts/Languages - Python, SQL/PLSQL, T-SQL, Unix Shell Script.
- Dev-ops tools: - JIRA, GIT, Bitbucket, Bamboo, Jenkins, Confluence.
- Analyzing and translating business needs into long-term solution data models.
- Evaluating existing data systems.
- Working with the development team to create conceptual data models and data flows.
- Develop diagrams representing key data entities and their relationships.
- Developing best practices for data coding to ensure consistency within the system.
- Reviewing modifications of existing systems for cross-compatibility.
- Implementing data strategies and developing physical data models.
- Updating and optimizing local and metadata models.
- Evaluating implemented data systems for variances, discrepancies, and efficiency.
- Troubleshooting and optimizing data systems.
