Senior Business Data Analyst

What Will Your Impact Be

• You will gather and analyze technical requirements, ensuring all needs are met, and the project stays on track.
• You will design and maintain automated processes for collecting data from our clients.
• You will provide technical guidance to our development staff and help them stay on track with project milestones and deadlines.
• You will diagnose and resolve client issues promptly, emphasizing outstanding customer service.
• You will create and support custom reports, KPI scorecards, and dashboards, providing valuable insights to our clients.
  
  

What We Are Looking For

• You can prioritize tasks and work effectively under pressure, remaining focused and solution-oriented in challenging situations.
• You possess a problem-solving mindset and have experience diagnosing and resolving technical issues, whether independently or as part of a team effort.
• You can identify minor errors or inconsistencies in data that others might miss.
• You have a proven track record of producing high-quality reports, documentation, and other deliverables free from errors.
• You can identify patterns or trends in data that might not be immediately obvious to others.
• You are skilled in using various data visualization tools, such as Tableau, Power BI, or Excel, to create interactive and insightful dashboards and reports.
• You know how to write SQL queries for large datasets that join multiple tables, make use of aggregate functions, and introduce subqueries without compromising performance
• You are comfortable working with data in flat files. You know how to clean, filter, and aggregate columns.
• You understand what it means to merge or split columns, change data types, and remove duplicates.
• You have experience transferring large files over secure networks using protocols like FTP or SFTP. You know how to establish secure connections between systems and monitor data exchange.
  
  

What Would Make You Stand Out

• You have experience with HL7 data and integration engines like Corepoint and Mirth
• You have experience with Microsoft SQL Server or Oracle PL/SQL
• You have created datasets and reports in Microsoft Power BI
• You have built a web or desktop application using a modern programming language
• You have been on a team that developed a customer-facing product
• You understand cloud-based solutions and concepts, especially Azure
• You have post-secondary education in a technology-related discipline.
