Data Scientist (ft/remote/junior)

Your Role

You will play a key role in analyzing complex data sets, building predictive models, and delivering actionable insights to support business decisions. This position offers an exciting opportunity for individuals with a strong foundation in data science to further develop their skills and contribute to impactful projects.

• Clean, preprocess, and transform raw data to prepare it for analysis, ensuring data quality and integrity.
• Perform exploratory data analysis to gain insights into data patterns, trends, and relationships.
• Develop and implement machine learning models, algorithms, and statistical techniques to solve business problems and extract valuable insights from data.
• Evaluate model performance using appropriate metrics and techniques, and iterate on models to improve predictive accuracy and effectiveness.
• Engineer features from raw data to enhance model performance and improve predictive capabilities.
• Create clear and informative data visualizations, such as charts, graphs, and dashboards, to communicate findings and insights to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data engineers, business analysts, and stakeholders, to define project requirements, goals, and success criteria.
• Document data science methodologies, processes, and findings, and maintain clear and organized documentation for reproducibility and knowledge sharing.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in data science, machine learning, and related fields, and proactively seek opportunities for learning and skill development.
  
  
  

Your Profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field.
• Strong programming skills in languages such as Python or R.
• Solid understanding of data manipulation, cleaning, and preprocessing techniques.
• Knowledge of machine learning algorithms and techniques, such as regression, classification, clustering, and neural networks.
• Experience with data visualization tools and libraries, such as Matplotlib, Seaborn, or Plotly.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Prior experience or projects in data science or related fields is a plus.
