The Associate Data Engineer will work on implementation and integration of data pipelines and applications, working closely with applications and technical teams to ensure the efficient flow of information and data. Follows plans and resolves issues in a manner that results in a successful implementation. The Associate Data Engineer may work on one or more solutions at a time that tend to be of simple to moderate complexity.

The Associate Data Engineer performs troubleshooting and issue resolution for simple to moderate data pipeline applications.

Responsibilities

  • Works on small to medium projects to develop data applications as a team member.
  • Assists other data engineers on support and development.
  • Collaborates with internal stakeholders.
  • Understanding of relational database concepts with a solid knowledge of star schema, SQL Tuning, OLAP, BigQuery, SnowFlake.
  • Intermediate to advanced skills in python
  • Understanding of data engineering principles and best practices to implement data engineering pipelines.
  • Experience in Cerner or EPIC is bonus
  • Familiarity with cloud services platforms like GCP,Azure and hands-on experience developing and deploying data engineering products on these platforms.
  • Expert in working with large databases, BI applications, data quality, and performance tuning.
  • Excellent communication skills, ability to work individually and in a broader geographically dispersed team
  • Understanding of data gathering, inspecting, cleansing, transforming, and modeling.
  • Remote eligible.

Qualifications

  • Requires a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Technology, Medical, or Business discipline or equivalent experience.
  • 0-2 years relevant experience required
  • 2+ Years preferred
  • 0-2 years of experience in Data Engineering.
  • 0-2 years experience with scripting(Shell, Python)
  • 0-2 years experience in cloud technologies like GCP,
  • AWS or Azure.
  • 0-2 years experience in implementing data engineering pipelines using GCP technologies like BigQuery, Dataflow , Composer, Vertex AI.


Pay Range

$35.28 - $51.16 /hour
