IK Partners integrated an in-house Operations team that actively supports the management teams and accelerates the growth of the portfolio companies. The Operations team involvement revolves throughout the investment lifecycle and their highly functional value creation practices, include Marketing & Sales, Operations, IT Digital Enterprise, Business Transformation and Reporting & Analytics.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Analytics and AI Expert to join our Operations team in London. The candidate will be responsible for leveraging data analytics and advanced AI techniques to drive insights, optimization, and decision-making across our investment portfolio.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement data analytics strategies to help drive investment decision-making, portfolio reporting and performance tracking and improvement.
  • Identify key trends and patterns in data to uncover actionable insights that inform portfolio strategies and drive value creation.
  • Collaborate with operations team, deal teams and portfolio companies to identify opportunities for data-driven decision-making and optimization.
  • Engage in cross-functional projects to help develop AI related strategies to streamline internal IK processes and improve productivity.
  • Develop tools and techniques to visualise data and insights in an easy understandable format.
  • Utilize AI techniques, including machine learning and natural language processing, to enhance predictive modelling and automation processes.
  • Build and maintain data infrastructure, including data pipelines and data warehouses, to ensure smooth data processing and analytics capabilities.
  • Stay current on emerging trends and technologies in data analytics and AI, and make recommendations for adoption where relevant.
  • Support Portfolio Companies with development of their monthly management / Board Reporting, including identification of relevant KPI’s.


Our Expectations

  • Degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field. Masters degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in data analytics and AI, preferably in Finance.
  • Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, R, or SQL.
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
  • Proficiency in machine learning techniques and algorithms.
  • Knowledge of financial modelling and analysis.
  • Experience working with large datasets and databases.
  • Knowledge of cloud computing platforms such as AWS or Azure is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal with the ability to present complex concepts in a clear manner.
  • Ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong experience with Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, …)
  • Knowledge of private equity operations would be preferable.
