For more information, please visit www.pricing.one.MAIN PURPOSEYou will be a key member of our team of expert business partners, part of the Production department (Analytics/Insights/BI) located in Geneva. You will work closely with a team of experts and analysts on several projects and will report to the Production VP. You will help deliver expert business analysis and recommendations to PricingOne clients. Your role will be to explore and analyze client data on sales performance, consumer behavior, trade and pricing response, design and supervise consumer and market research to guide business and pricing recommendations. You will leverage statistical and analytical tools available to you to also conduct scenario and simulations. You will be accountable for delivering on the assigned project tasks and milestones.YOUR PROFILEWith a business, commercial, or marketing background, you are a specialist in analyzing and interpreting data and are able to articulate insights into actionable recommendations. You have an outstanding expertise in market research and a fundamental understanding of the clients' needs regarding marketing, pricing and portfolio growth. Highly organized and efficient with the ability to work on their own initiative and meet multiple deadlines.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESDefining quantitative methods to be used by agencies and “outside-the-box” thinking to help answer complex business questions.Manage all phases of a market research study except for programming & modeling: questionnaire design, fieldwork management (no actual coordination with fieldwork agencies), data analysis, preparation of reports and presentations in line with strategic business issues.Manage various data sources (e.g.: Trade panel, Consumer panel, P&L, Promotion calendars, etc.) to build the appropriate databaseLeverage several sources of data to analyze general as well as specific trends, year-over-year sales, key regional and product differences including relevant competitive informationConsulting clients on their business issues to help optimize marketing communication, product pricing and portfolios, and new product developments.Ensuring good and efficient collaboration with third-party agencies in different countries.Independent management of client contact during day-to-day project management.Ensuring that the assigned projects are optimally carried out and deadlines are met.KEY REQUIREMENTSBachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics or in a related field. A Master’s degree in business administration, market research, marketing life sciences, sociology or psychology will be advantageous.Minimum of >5-10 years of relevant work experience (Market Research, Business analysis in agencies or in B2C CPG/FMCG industry), ideally with good knowledge of the Swiss market.Strong Project Management skills are mandatory.Exposure to various quantitative/qualitative market research methodologies; knowledge of conjoint (Choice-Based Conjoint) analysis is a plus.Experience in analyzing pricing elasticities, promotion effectiveness, forecasting consumption, user flows, revenue and market shares using retail panel data (e.g.: Nielsen, IRI, etc).Interest in data management.Have developed Business Awareness in consulting clients on their challenges.Entrepreneurial and pro-active attitude.Eye for details.Strong analytical and communication skillsKeen interest in talking to clients of leading companies and consulting them on their business challenges.Ability to perform independent research to solve problems.Ability to thrive while working on multiple projects.Ability to work well across teams but also independently.Strong knowledge of Excel (pivots), Word, and PowerPoint.SQL, Power BI and VBA/macros experience is a plus.Excellent written and oral communication skills in EnglishFrench or German is a plusWHY WORK FOR PRICINGONELarge variety of tasks and projects that will enhance both your soft and hard skills.Wonderful international & multi-cultural team to work with.Amazing development opportunity in excellent business environment with passionate experts.Networking opportunities across the industry, at senior leadership level.We offer real work assignments that come as ideal education complement.Flexible hours.
