Senior AI Engineer:
As a Senior AI Engineer, you will play a crucial role in driving the growth of our custom AI solutions practice. You will provide exceptional vision towards defining and building AI-enabled solutions for the Cloud. You will draw from your deep expertise in AI techniques, methods and tools, as well as your expertise in cloud application development, to define and deliver AI solutions from pre-sales solutioning through go-live and beyond.
You will be a technical leader and trusted advisor working directly with customers, leveraging your expertise to understand their needs and to architect and deliver innovative AI solutions that deliver real-world impact. You will provide technical leadership to multiple projects while guiding, mentoring and building team capabilities. You will leverage best practices to ensure quality deliverables.
You will stay ahead of the curve by researching and adopting the right mix of emerging AI tools, techniques and use cases. You will ensure our services and team are at the forefront of the AI revolution. You will serve a key role in transforming and scaling the organization for growth while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction and project delivery success.
What you’ll do:
• Customer Engagement:
o Collaborate closely with customers to understand their business challenges and goals, and to develop opportunities for AI integrations.
o Understand the customer’s AI journey and how to align them for successful adoption of AI technologies and practices. Define initial assessment and proof-of-concept engagements to address customer barriers.
o Define and scope effective, scalable and performant AI solutions to meet customer requirements. Create architectures and technical requirements for AI-powered solutions. Present AI solutions and findings to clients, stakeholders, and internal teams.
o Maintain close relationships with clients throughout the project lifecycle. Manage and meet expectations. Communicate project progress effectively. Drive high levels of customer satisfaction and repeat business.
o Earn our customer’s trust by delivering outsized business outcomes. Address and manage complex customer issues and provide technical and business recommendations aligned with account strategy.
• Project Delivery:
o Design and implement high-performance, scalable AI solutions using diverse techniques (e.g., machine learning, deep learning, NLP).
o Select and integrate appropriate AI tools and frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Azure ML) for optimal results.
o Proven ability to bring technical leadership to delivery of large-scale solutions for multiple customers using Agile methods. Strong ability to be as hands-on as needed to ensure project success.
o Develop, implement, and test AI models and algorithms to meet customer requirements within the chosen architecture and framework.
o Optimize solutions for cost, scalability, performance, maintainability.
o Conduct thorough testing of AI applications to ensure correct results and optimal performance. Implement best practices for AI solution quality assurance.
o Support project managers to ensure successful project execution through effective management of resources, timelines, and budgets.
• Technology Leadership:
o Continuously monitor the rapidly evolving AI landscape. Research, analyze and select emerging AI tools and techniques. Stay ahead of the curve while ensuring service offerings and team capabilities address market demands.
o Identify and champion promising new technologies for potential client applications. Develop and lead initiatives to expand our AI application development practice.
o Identify opportunities to leverage AI within client engagements; support pre-sales activities; develop playbooks and repeatable solutions.
o Drive the adoption of chosen tools within the team and develop training programs to ensure team competency. Lead and mentor development team in AI concepts, techniques, tools and best practices.
o Define technical standards and quality measures within the AI development team.
o Facilitate development team adoption of AI-assisted software development tooling, such as Amazon CodeWhisperer.
o Share knowledge and expertise within the company, documenting best practices and contributing to a culture of continuous learning.
• Communication and Collaboration:
o Build an environment of trust and collaboration between Navisite and our customers.
o Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to deliver successful projects. Ensure effective engagement between onshore, nearshore and offshore teams.
o Collaborate with Practice Leadership, Sales, Solution Architects and other Navisite teams to define and scope innovative AI solutions for complex and large-scale customer challenges.
o Experience in a fast-paced environment and experience building teams is a big plus.
o Proven ability to interact and communicate with CxO-level personnel and navigate customer organizations to ensure successful project delivery and acceptance. Proven ability to interact and communicate with technical teams and leadership.
