WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for a Product Data Analyst with strong SQL skills to join our Product team. Within this role, you'll engage in collaborative efforts across various departments, playing a pivotal role in refining our data-centric decision-making procedures. If you're enthusiastic about converting raw data into practical insights, your expertise will be essential to driving our business’ success.


YOU ARE

  • Proven experience as a Product Analyst, Data Analyst, or similar role in a fast-moving, product-focused environment
  • A high level of proficiency in SQL, query building and optimisation
  • Knowledge of mobile and web analytics tools (Google Analytics, Amplitude, etc)
  • Experience with data visualisation tools (Tableau, Looker, PowerBI, Metabase etc)
  • Good knowledge of business analytics and e-commerce concepts


YOU WILL

Provide access to data and analysis to benefit the whole business

  • Look for trends, patterns, and correlations in our customer behaviour
  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity by performing regular data audits and quality checks
  • Develop insightful reports and dashboards that help teams with self-serve capabilities
  • Translate complex data findings into easy-to-understand visualisations and reports for non-technical stakeholders


Provide analytical insights that drive product improvements

  • Analyse user behaviour patterns, including user journeys and conversion funnels, to understand how customers interact with our products
  • Segment user data and provide insights on user preferences and behaviour to inform product enhancements
  • Assist in designing and conducting experiments to test hypotheses and evaluate the impact of changes


Be responsible for evaluating product performance

  • Monitor and analyse key product metrics including user engagement, conversion rates, and revenue
  • Identify trends, anomalies, and areas for improvement using product usage data


Have a keen involvement in data quality and governance

  • Ensure data accuracy and reliability by collaborating with data engineering and finance teams
  • Maintain documentation of data sources and definitions
