Data Scientist, Permanent Opportunity based in Cork.

On behalf of my client I'm seeking a Data Scientist with 4-5 years of experience to develop predictive models, extract insights, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business value.

Key Responsibilities

• Data Analysis & Exploration: Collect, clean, and preprocess large datasets. Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA).
• Model Development: Develop, implement, and refine machine learning models.
• Statistical Analysis: Conduct hypothesis testing and statistical analysis.
• Collaboration & Communication: Translate business needs into data science projects and communicate findings effectively.
• Data Engineering: Ensure data quality and implement data pipelines.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on data science advancements and contribute to team practices.
  
  

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's/Master's in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field.
• Experience: 4-5 years in data science or analytics.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python, R, SQL, machine learning libraries, and data visualization tools.
• Soft Skills: Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with big data technologies, cloud platforms, NLP, and deep learning.
