About The Position

Data Engineer:

What You’ll Do:

• Gathering business requirements and translating them into data requirements
• Build Databricks & AWS based technical solutions leveraging a broad
  
  

range of the available toolsets

• Act as a team member on projects under the direction of an architect &
  
  

project manager

• Implement end-to-end data platform solutions for our clients
• Develop reports, dashboards, etc.
• Develop data models
• Develop data pipelines and data quality checks
• Author high quality project documentation and other project artifacts,
  
  

including written use cases

• Expand your knowledge in multiple tools and technologies.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 8+ years of experience building data solutions on Databricks (AWS)
• Expertise in designing and implementing logical and physical data models for cloud data warehouse environments
• ETL/ELT pipelines and tools
  
  

Implementing data architectures to support a variety of data formats

and structures including structured, semi-structured and unstructured data

• Experience with multiple full life-cycle data warehouse implementations
• Understanding of data architectures required to support data integration processing
• Experience with data modeling technologies such as ER/Studio, ER/Win or similar
• Experience with Databricks AND/OR AWS Data Platform services, including SQL database, etc
  
  

Preferred Technical Skills:

• Experience with integration tool such as Airflow, Data Factory, Logic Apps, etc.
• Experience creating strategies to migrate customers from on-
  
  

premise environments to AWS

• ThoughtSpot, Power BI or equivalent UI platforms and semantic
  
  

modeling
