The Transformation

As part of this transformation we are creating a new centralized team focused on Marketing Automation. This team consists of Data Scientists, Data Engineers, and Cloud Specialists, all skilled in their expertise with and in AWS (Amazon Web Services) for Marketing Automation & Technology.

Ideal Candidate

Experience: Minimum 5 years in a Data Engineering role with extensive AWS experience.

Hard skills: Proficiency in SQL, Python, and AWS. A deep understanding of data warehousing, modelling, privacy, security, and governance.

Soft skills: Strong in analysis and problem solving as a critical thinker. Great in (pro active) communication in both business and technical context.

Personality: Empathic, decisive, humorous, people-focused, authentic, and honest. Eagerness for growth and embracing challenges.

Role And Responsibilities

Key Tasks: Understanding, solving, collecting, and structuring data, implementing technical solutions, and managing data architecture.

Impact: Playing a crucial role in utilizing data for marketing purposes and merging complex datasets into coherent, extensive structures for enhanced customer insights and business strategy.

What's Next And Fun In The Role

Objective (short term): Extending marketing and sales automation, across digital and human-assisted channels, and enhance service components allowing customers to self-serve via the platform.

Challenge: The excitement lies in tackling complex data sets and creating impactful, comprehensive data structures.

You bring this

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Physics, MIS, Engineering, or related field preferred, with at least 5 years of experience as a Data Engineer.

Extensive knowledge of SQL, Python and ETL/ELT processing.

Deep understanding of data warehousing, privacy, security, and governance. Proficient in software design, architecture, and implementation of real-time distributed systems on AWS.

Skilled in AWS components and data processing (e.g. S3, Lambda, AWS Glue, Redshift).

Experience with non-AWS CI/CD technologies (e.g. Github, Docker, Linux).
