Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data engineering, with expertise in Salesforce, SQL, AWS, AWS Glue, Informatica PowerCenter, and Apache Spark. As a Data Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our data infrastructure, ensuring the efficient and reliable flow of data across various systems.

Responsibilities

Data Integration and ETL Development:

  • Design, develop, and maintain robust ETL processes for seamless data integration from various sources, with a focus on Salesforce, SQL databases, and other relevant platforms.
  • Utilize Informatica PowerCenter and AWS Glue to create efficient and scalable ETL workflows.

Cloud Platform Expertise

  • Leverage AWS services to build and optimize data pipelines, storage, and analytics solutions.
  • Work with AWS Glue for data cataloging, ETL job execution, and data transformation.

Database Management

  • Proficient in SQL for database design, optimization, and querying.
  • Manage and optimize databases, ensuring data integrity and performance.

Big Data Processing

  • Develop and implement Apache Spark applications for large-scale data processing and analytics.

Collaboration And Communication

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver solutions.
  • Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders, explaining complex concepts in a clear and understandable manner.

Performance Optimization

  • Identify and address performance bottlenecks in data pipelines and processes to ensure optimal system efficiency.

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven professional experience as a Data Engineer with a focus on Salesforce, SQL, AWS, AWS Glue, Informatica PowerCenter, and Apache Spark.
  • Strong SQL skills and experience working with relational databases.
  • Proficient in designing, building, and maintaining ETL processes.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, particularly AWS.
  • Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and best practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Skills

  • AWS Certification (e.g., AWS Certified Big Data - Specialty).
  • Experience with other big data technologies and tools.
  • Familiarity with data governance and security best practices.
