We are seeking a highly motivated and committed Product Data Analyst to join our dynamic team.



This role is crucial for fostering product innovation and enhancing user experiences through robust, data-driven insights.


A brand new role, you will be pivotal in understanding user behaviour, monitoring product KPIs, and fostering the adoption of new features to ensure we provide a platform our users love.



Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Understand and optimise the end-to-end tracking & insight gathering implementation process. Collaborate closely with product teams to ensure that insight gathering tools are seamlessly integrated with new features and updates.
  • Manage and group disparate datasets (including web & user data exploration + sales & research data) to uncover meaningful insights into user behaviour, product performance, and key business metrics. Monitor and inform product KPIs and track performance over time while regularly sharing insights in cross-functional meetings.
  • Utilise statistical evaluation techniques and tools such as Google Analytics (GA), Google Tag Manager (GTM), Google Big Query (GBQ), and Pendo to interpret data and identify opportunities for product optimisation and user experience improvements.
  • Actively participate in product development meetings to provide data-driven recommendations and feedback, fostering collaboration throughout the development process.
  • Collaborate with the development team to scope & implement data specifications and testing protocols for new products & features. Act as a liaison to answer questions, clarify requirements, and ensure that data collection and reporting needs are effectively met.
  • Participate in testing phases to validate data accuracy and functionality, demonstrating commitment to quality.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualisations to track KPIs and communicate findings to stakeholders, emphasising the importance of sharing knowledge.
  • Serve as the go-to expert for the Product team, ensuring we have the data needed to make informed choices, committed to supporting our collective goals.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and execute tests to validate hypotheses, craft customer surveys, and in-app messaging to enable commercial success.
  • Manage insight gathering tools to ensure accurate tracking and reporting of user interactions. Guide user data insights to inform high-potential areas for enhancing the user experience.
  • Regularly meet with the Customer Success team to discuss findings and strategise on improving customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Design and execute experiments to evaluate the effectiveness of product features and user experiences. Provide detailed reports and presentations on experiment results to the Tech & Product teams to guide feature refinements and development.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging tools, and best practices in data exploration to drive continuous improvement. Facilitate workshops and training sessions for all business stakeholders, promoting a culture of data literacy and informed decision-making across the company.


Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field. A Master’s degree or equivalent experience is preferred.
  • Demonstrable experience in a product or quantitative data exploration role, with insight gathering & SEO experience being a plus.
  • Experience with insight gathering tools such as Google Analytics (GA), Google Tag Manager (GTM), Google Big Query (GBQ), and Pendo.
  • Proficiency in SQL & Python for data extraction, manipulation, and examination, along with a working knowledge of business intelligence tools like PowerBI and Tableau.
  • Strong insightful and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to convey complex findings to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Highly innovative problem solver, naturally curious and proactive in learning.
  • Ability to develop quantitative examination, ad-hoc reports, and models to deliver actionable insights and influence product choices and direction.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
