As a Machine Learning Engineer Trainee you will contribute to building experiences in one of the fastest-growing marketplaces in Europe. We build algorithmic solutions to facilitate transactions between our buyers and sellers. We are developing personalization technologies and optimization strategies that have a direct impact on our users as well as the company's bottom line.

You will be encouraged to use state-of-the-art machine learning in Computer Vision and Natural Language. Furthermore, you will be applying these methods to core OLX product platforms deployed in the cloud that are affecting the user experience for millions of visitors per month, rolling your solutions to production, analyzing model results offline and online, and measuring site impact!

Our Special One Profile

• Experience in Data Science and Machine Learning, whether from an academic background, bootcamp or self-learning
• Open to explore more about Data Science and Machine Learning
• Comfortable with computer science fundamentals and programming practices
• Loves learning because continuous learning is key to success
• Self-motivated, entrepreneurial spirit and ability to think creatively
• Proactive and results-oriented person with a good sense of ownership
• Good communication skills
• You live in Lisboa (or close by) and are able to go to the office 2/3 times a week
