Svitla Systems Inc. is looking for a Senior Machine Learning Engineer for a full-time position (40 hours per week) in Argentina. Our client is a web-based software company that provides business development products and services to the hospitality industry. They help hotels, CVBs, and other venues drive revenue by meeting market intelligence. Powered by the industry’s largest source of historical data on actualized meetings and events, clients’ products enable time-saving tactics for booking better-qualified group business, competitive benchmarking, portfolio revenue-growth strategies, market share gains, increased RevPAR, and group trend forecasting. As a globally recognized meeting and group data provider, they offer extensive insight into market analytics, group industry trends, and robust benchmarking. The technology gives hoteliers the tools to define market potential, target the most profitable group opportunities, increase market share, identify and develop new customers, and gain insight into group characteristics and booking patterns.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of hands-on experience in most of these ML tools/techniques:
• Building ML models with SageMaker or a similar service;
• Building ML models in frameworks like TensorFlow & PyTorch and deploying them in SageMaker;
• Training and deploying AWS pre-trained AI services and foundational models;
• Usage Elasticsearch power search functionality and provide insights from large datasets;
• Integrating ML models into real-time applications and batching workflows recommends better infrastructure design and optimization;
• Monitoring, evaluating, and continuously improving model performance and automating these tasks using one or more tools for MLOps.
• Hands-on experience with these data engineering tools/techniques:
• Data integration, cleansing, transformation, and visualization using Python packages, SQL, etc.;
• AWS services include Glue, EMR, Athena, DynamoDB, Step Functions, EKS, etc.
  
  

Responsibilities

• Work with a team to deliver machine learning solutions on AWS for customers.
• Decompose business goals into architecture and sprint-level tasks.
• Lead engineers in building solutions.
• Participate in daily standup meetings and address technical issues.
• Design and document ML models, MLOps, and analytics.
• Provide big data processing and preparation of training data for models.
  
  

Will Be a Plus

• Knowledge of an IaC tool such as CloudFormation, CDK, or Terraform.
