Responsibilities - your mission

Join the GBS team as data scientist/ analyst in order to contribute to exciting projects in a dynamic development environment.

Main Tasks And Responsibilities Will Include

• Palantir Foundry Development: Design, develop, and implement Palantir Foundry solutions that align with organizational requirements Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into effective Palantir Foundry applications
• Apache Spark Integration: Utilize your in-depth knowledge of Apache Spark to develop and optimize data processing workflows within the Palantir Foundry environment. Implement efficient Spark jobs to handle large-scale data processing and analysis tasks
• Ontology Management: Manage and enhance ontologies within Palantir Foundry to ensure accurate representation of data relationships and semantic understanding Collaborate with data architects to design and maintain ontologies that support the organization's data governance objectives
• Python Development: Leverage your proficiency in Python programming to customize and extend Palantir Foundry functionalities Develop Python scripts and modules to integrate external data sources and enhance data processing capabilities.
• Data Transformation: Design and implement data transformation processes to ensure the integrity, quality, and consistency of data within the Palantir Foundry ecosystem Collaborate with data engineers to optimize data pipelines for efficiency and performance.
  
  

Requirements - Our Ideal Candidate Will Have

We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Strong proficiency in Apache Spark, Python, and data transformation techniques
• Experience with ontology design and management
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  
  

Preferred Skills

• Proven experience in developing applications within the Palantir Foundry environment
• Familiarity with other data processing frameworks and technologies
• Experience with Palantir Gotham or Palantir Apollo.
• Knowledge of best practices in data governance and data security
