About The Role

We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer (f/mx) who is motivated to work on cutting-edge of technology to define the future of hearing care. You and your team will fully own all parts of the data lifecycle, ranging from data ingestion and ETL processes to data warehousing and analytics.

Your Responsibilities

  • Develop Data Infrastructure: Design and implement scalable and reliable data pipelines to support our data warehousing and analytics needs.
  • Collaborate on Data Integration: Work closely with analytics engineers on integrating and transforming data for various business requirements.
  • Ensure Data Quality: Focus on ensuring high data quality and governance throughout the data lifecycle.
  • Data Pipeline Ownership: Take ownership of the engineering processes and structures for data pipelines, ensuring they are optimized for speed, scalability, and reliability.
  • Technical Solutions Ownership: Development and maintenance of technical solutions and processes within the data engineering team, ensuring best practices are followed.

Your profile

  • Proven technical ability and a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and techniques
  • Strong understanding of data engineering principles, including ETL processes, data modeling, and virtualization
  • Experience on working with cloud based DWH solutions on AWS, GCP or Azure
  • Experience with advanced database technologies designed for large-scale data processing and analytics, such as columnar storage and distributed systems
  • Advanced knowledge of ETL frameworks in Python and SQL
  • Proficiency in BI tools and an understanding of their integration within a larger data ecosystem
  • A data-informed approach with strong analytical and problem-solving skillsExceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  • Nice to have: Familiarity with containerization (docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes), streaming technologies like Kafka, Pulsar, Kinesis
