We are seeking a talented Snowflake Data Engineer to join our product and data science team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data engineering, with expertise in Snowflake and cloud technologies. You will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining data pipelines, ensuring the scalability, reliability, and efficiency of our data infrastructure. The data engineer will provide product data science engineering the tools and best practices that will enable them to complete their mission quickly in an automated way, improve data quality and data consistency across our pipelines and dashboards.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

You will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining data pipelines, ensuring the scalability, reliability, and efficiency of our data infrastructure. The data engineer will provide product data science engineering the tools and best practices that will enable them to complete their mission quickly in an automated way, improve data quality and data consistency across our pipelines and dashboards.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines using Snowflake and cloud technologies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and design optimal solutions.
- Optimize and tune data pipelines for performance and efficiency.
- Implement data governance and security best practices.
- Implement data quality checks
- Implement SLA checks and dependencies checks
- Experience with version control systems and deployment processes
- Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues in a timely manner.
- Flexible to work with early evening Berlin time to morning PST timezone.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Strong experience with Snowflake, including data modeling, ETL/ELT processes, and performance tuning.
- Proficiency in SQL and scripting languages (e.g., Python, Java, etc.).
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and related services (e.g., S3, Redshift, BigQuery).
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Experience with data warehousing concepts and methodologies.
- Familiarity with agile development practices.
