About The Role

We are seeking a talented and experienced Machine Learning Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a key member of the engineering department, you will play a crucial role in developing, deploying, and enhancing our Intelligent Document Processing platform. You will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge NLP techniques and leverage recent advancements in the field to solve complex document-processing challenges.

What you will be working on

  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather requirements for the development process
  • Optimizing and fine-tuning existing models to improve accuracy, performance, and scalability as well as implementing machine learning algorithms and models for Intelligent Document Processing
  • Integrating machine learning models into production systems, ensuring scalability and reliability
  • Working on data validation, data preprocessing, and model evaluation to ensure high-quality output
  • Documenting technical specifications, experiments, and findings to support knowledge sharing within the team. Report on findings in blog posts or publications
  • Staying informed about the latest advancements in NLP and document processing. Identify the right tooling and frameworks to integrate them into our platform

Ideally, you will have

  • Higher education degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • Strong background in Machine Learning (3-6 years of professional experience) with expertise in Natural Language Processing techniques including in-depth understanding and practical experience with state-of-the-art architectures, such as transformers and attention mechanisms.
  • Proficiency in Python
  • Experience with relevant libraries and frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow, Transformers, scikit-learn).
  • Experience with NoSQL databases like MongoDB.
  • Knowledge of OCR (Optical Character Recognition) techniques is highly desirable
  • Experience with cloud platforms and familiarity with MLOps (Docker, Kubeflow)
  • Publications or contributions to the NLP/Machine Learning community (e.g., research papers, open-source projects)
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work on complex challenges independently.
  • Communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong attention to detail and a passion for delivering high-quality results
