We are looking for a talented Staff Data Scientist to join our team in Copenhagen. As a Staff Data Scientist at Monta, you will spearhead our modeling and algo efforts. Not to mention, our growth has skyrocketed 6X since the last round, nearing 1 million monthly charging sessions, and 1,000 #EV drivers joining us daily! Monta will use the EUR 80M funding to double down on its successful software-only strategy by strengthening investments in all markets and improving and expanding its product to new sectors ready to embark on an electrified future.

Key Responsibilities
- Own our modeling and algorithm efforts from end-to-end. This includes architecture, ETL, data processing, setting up production grade solutions, building an interface our product can interact with and making sure that stakeholders are happy with the results.
- Broaden the impact of ML models and algos across Monta. Work with relevant teams across the org to understand how modeling can help them achieve their goals.
- Provide leadership in the data team and mentoring across the engineering team.
- Have a strong understanding and opinion on the overall technology roadmap and understand how modeling can impact our business.
- A minimum of 8 years experience in relevant industry roles.
- Broad experience with algorithms and building models, advanced knowledge of at least one subfield of machine learning.
- Data engineering experience and strong understanding of data architecture.
- Experience with setting up software for lifecycle management of algorithms and models.
- Expert in Python and SQL.
- Bonus for any compiled coding languages.
