Data Analyst - Corporate Reporting

Nature and aim of the position

You have a strong product instinct and eagerness for data-centric analytical products? You are passionate about data and interested to see how Business Intelligence (BI) solutions are used in digital transaction environments such as tax free shopping business?

If you are a business-oriented person with curiosity for data and sharp attention to details, then we are looking for someone just like you to join our Data & Business Intelligence team in and help us with implementing best in class approach for Corporate reporting and analysis in order to protect Global Blue Valuable asset while enabling efficient innovation long term.

Reporting to the BI Corporate Reporting Manager and within the Data & Analytics Unit of Value, you will be participating to the create reports to be used at Corporate level and to define key KPI for Corporate strategies and activities.

Main duties and responsibilities

  • Support the production of bespoke Corporate reports
  • Executing business analysis for internal stakeholders leveraging Global / corporate best practices
  • Analyse & Support internal users requests for data and analytics to be deployed into BI solutions platform
  • Identify opportunities to improve production efficiency and contribute to the development of business strategy

Background and Education

  • A Bachelor's degree, preferably in Analytics, Statistics or Economics
  • 3-5 years of working experience as a data / Business analyst in charge of developing and producing performance reports for internal / external clients
  • Proven ability to manage, transform and extract large volumes of data
  • Attention to detail and curious to understand how business performance is structured across different drivers
  • Advanced knowledge of analytic tools (Tableau and / or Micro Strategy are a plus)
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft SQL for data extraction and manipulation is a plus
  • Basic knowledge of data science tools like R / Python is a plus
  • Advanced mastery of Office tools especially Excel
  • Fluency in English is a must

  • Attention to details to deliver against senior management stakeholders expectations
  • Solid communication skills demonstrated
  • Experience in working with dislocated teams in a global, multicultural environment
  • Experience in handling demanding stakeholders from different technical/business areas and tight timelines
  • You have a strong curiosity to find out how products and systems work and are inquisitive and proactive
  • Ability to work independently

Additional comments: Agile working model - 2 days / week in office
