Data Scientists - Actuary

Our client is seeking Actuaries at various levels of experience and expertise to join their Analytics, Data and Actuarial Division, which provides information and advice on Scheme monitoring, financial sustainability, and risks.

Key Responsibilities Can Include

• Oversight and management of reporting, analysis and data management activities
• Support evidence-based policy in the form of writing complex briefs and slide presentations for senior leadership team
• Extracting, cleansing, and preparing of data from multiple sources, in particular the data warehouse
• Designing actuarial, statistical and mathematical models to undertake analytical work that respond to business issues
  
  

Skills And Experience

• Must be an Australian citizen due to security clearance requirements
• Demonstrated actuarial/data analytics experience in government
• Demonstrated R programming skills
• Demonstrated skills in SQL / SAS programming
• Understanding / experience in modelling techniques
• Experience with internal and external stakeholder engagement
