Environmental Compliance Data Analyst

Location: Cork

Your primary focus will be the completion of environmental compliance reporting and financial management for a range of European and non-EU Countries.

You’ll be gathering data from various internal systems (SAP) and teams, using this data to compile monthly, quarterly and annual reports as required. You will also be required to undertake financial management for the compliance reporting that you complete. This shall require the approval of invoices for payment, tracking of spend for your accounts/reports, ensuring there is sufficient funds available and forecasting for future spend.

You will also be required to undertake project related tasks as needed. This will involve engaging with other teams to understand issues, gather and communicate requirements, and assist in designing and implementing solutions. Problem-solving and communication will be a key part of this role.

Your working style can be described as accurate, inquisitive and solution oriented.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Using SAP and other systems to complete environmental compliance reports to recycling schemes;

• Work with other teams to resolve issues as necessary;

• Prepare and present keynotes as necessary;

• Undertake financial management tasks for the reports that you are assigned;

• Undertake and complete environmental audits as necessary.

Key Qualifications

- Minimum 3 years relevant working experience in the field of environmental compliance or project management or data administration and analysis;

- Experience in data quality control and assurance is essential;

- Proof of professionally mastering advanced use of Excel, Powerpoint/Keynote;

- Experience in use of SAP is a plus;

- Thrives in work environments that require independence;

- Demonstrated organizational and documentation skills with a high level of attention to detail;

- Fluency in English is essential. Additional languages skills, particularly German, would be a plus.
