Data Scientist (Surrey HQ - visit the office x2/3 days a month with an easy commute from London!) Xcede are delighted to be working with one of the strongest Data Science and ML teams in the insurance industry. The organisation are working on a huge variety of projects and internal tools – specialisms range from pricing and forecasting all the way through to intelligent recommender systems (by far the most developed in the industry) & personalisation. Their Data Science team is currently working on expanding and optimising their Marketing focused Data Science projects, so people with a background in; Recommender Systems / Recommendation Engine CRM Experimentation Large scale A/B tests Customer Personalisation etc. are highly prized at the moment! The team productionise their own models most of the time, but if this is something newer to you, they’re happy to help with your development here as long as you have enough commercial DS experience from a modelling & algorithmic design perspective. This is an incredible opportunity because this is increasingly a non-negotiable skill for all of our clients and their Data Science functions. Responsibilities Create cutting edge marketing focused data science algorithms and Products. Help or own Productionisation / deployment of these algorithms.
