What You’ll Do
SAP is a leading cloud-based ERP solution provider, and we are currently seeking a highly motivated and talented individual to join our team in the role of Cloud ERP Strategy Data Scientist. This position, based in Walldorf, Germany, is a full-time opportunity for a junior professional looking to make a significant impact in the field of product strategy.
Meet your team
The Cloud ERP Product Strategy Team is part of the Office of the President, Cloud ERP. The team comprises Paul Saunders, Divya Mohan and Laura Marwood. We are responsible for bringing together all elements of Cloud ERP into a cohesive product strategy, communicating it throughout SAP and into the market.
We leverage data from within SAP and across the industry to create an executable product strategy that keeps SAP at the forefront of business applications and helps our customers bring out their best.

- Utilize data insights to provide actionable recommendations for the overall product strategy of our Cloud ERP solution.
- Conduct thorough research on market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to gather relevant data.
- Analyze and interpret complex data sets to extract valuable insights that drive differentiation and innovation within our Cloud ERP offering.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of data-driven recommendations with the overall product vision.
- Work closely with Product Managers to prioritize feature development and identify areas for enhancement based on data analysis.
- A solid background in ERP, SAP technologies, and product strategy is essential.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to turn data into clear and actionable insights.
- Proficient in using analytical tools, data visualization, and statistical analysis techniques.
- Excellent research skills to gather relevant and accurate data from various sources.
- Effective communication and presentation skills to convey complex ideas and insights to stakeholders.
- An understanding of different cultures and the ability to act as an ambassador for diversity, to meet the needs of our global customers.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
