Data Engineer

As a Data Engineer at Sagacity, you will be involved in shaping the technical direction of our products by influencing the design and architecture of these solutions, as well as building the next generation of these products and enhancing the existing ones. You will also be instrumental in supporting their implementation at a growing number of blue-chip companies, ensuring consistency with Sagacity’s approach, strategy, commitments and goals. You will have good experience in delivering full life cycle technical solutions on a variety of data platforms. Experience in delivering commercial standard products as well as client bespoke deliveries is also required.

Principal Responsibilities Will Involve

• Implementing key modules of the product development roadmap
• Design and Build key components in the Sagacity product line
• Offer innovation in the design and implementation of the components, ensuring that the solutions are effective and performant
• Assume responsibility of aspects of the technical design of our products
• Support the web development by building data modules to interact with the WEB UI
• Build reporting to interface with the product data
• Support client product implementations
• Understand the current architecture and data flows, and offer suggestions for further improvement
• Ensuring that all aspects of the delivery are documented to the required standard
• Mentor junior project team members
• Assist in managing the technical infrastructure in regard to our Cloud platform
