Job Description

The individual will play a crucial role in developing and implementing artificial intelligence (AI) solutions to drive operational efficiency, enhance customer experience, and optimize business outcomes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in machine learning, deep learning, visual and natural language processing, with a passion for leveraging AI technologies to solve complex business problems in the insurance industry.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities for applying AI and machine learning techniques to improve business processes, automate tasks, and enhance decision-making.
• Design, develop, and deploy AI models and algorithms to address various use cases, including underwriting automation, claims processing, fraud detection, customer segmentation, and predictive analytics.
• Collect, preprocess, and analyze large datasets from internal and external sources to train and evaluate AI models, ensuring data quality, accuracy, and integrity.
• Experiment with different machine learning frameworks, libraries, and tools to identify the most suitable approaches for specific problems and domains.
• Optimize AI models for performance, scalability, and efficiency, leveraging techniques such as hyperparameter tuning, model compression, and deployment optimization.
• Collaborate with data engineers and IT teams to integrate AI solutions into existing systems and workflows, ensuring seamless integration and compatibility.
• Stay updated on the latest research, developments, and trends in AI, machine learning, and related fields, applying cutting-edge techniques to solve business challenges.
• Conduct proof-of-concept projects and pilot programs to demonstrate the feasibility and effectiveness of AI solutions in real-world scenarios.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, customer service, claims, and domain experts, to align AI initiatives with business objectives.
• Provide training, documentation, and support to end-users on AI models and applications, enabling them to leverage AI capabilities effectively.
  
  

Requirements:

• Degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in AI, machine learning, or data science roles, with a focus on developing and deploying AI solutions in enterprise environments.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R with hands-on experience in machine learning libraries and frameworks such as PySpark, TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn, or Keras.
• Strong understanding of machine learning algorithms, including supervised learning, unsupervised learning, reinforcement learning, and deep learning.
• Experience with natural language processing (NLP) techniques and frameworks for text analysis, sentiment analysis, entity recognition, and language understanding.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as Databricks, AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform, with experience in deploying and managing AI models in cloud environments.
• Familiarity with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, or Kafka for handling and processing large-scale datasets.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into AI solutions and evaluate their impact on business outcomes.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Creative thinker with a passion for innovation and continuous learning, staying updated on the latest advancements and best practices in AI and machine learning.
