You will contribute to the digitalization of Swiss Post and support our business partners with modern data solutions.
Description of main tasks:
- Together with a DataOps team, you will implement and maintain AWS-based data products.
- Depending on the needs, you will implement Java microservices, Spark jobs in Scala or operationalise ML models for analytics applications.
- You will implement Terraform code to build analytics infrastructure and support the team with cloud expertise.
- In this role, you will work closely with the business, data scientists and our solution architects.
Professional experience/expertise
- You have professional experience in software development (Java, Scala) and in-depth knowledge of data processing (Apache Spark, Python, SQL).
- You have experience with big data and analytics services such as AWS Glue, SageMaker or Athena and have knowledge of Terraform.
- You enjoy working in an agile environment and are interested in CI/CD, Infrastructure-as-Code and DevOps.
Education
- You have a degree in Computer Science or equivalent
Language skills
− English spoken and written
− German is an advantage
