Role: Junior Data Scientist x3 Location: Remote (UK) Day Rate: £400/day Inside IR35 Length: 3m Initial contract Experience within HealthTech, Public Sector or the NHS is essential Brio Digital is working with a HealthTech consultancy who are dedicated to delivering innovative solutions in the public sector. They believe in leveraging cutting-edge technologies to drive digital transformation and enhance business outcomes. We're looking for a junior data scientist who has prior experience working on projects within the NHS. Responsibilities: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritise data-driven business challenges. Design and implement data collection, cleaning, and transformation pipelines. Build and evaluate machine learning models to solve specific problems and make predictions. Analyse and interpret data to generate actionable insights and recommendations. Communicate complex findings effectively to technical and non-technical audiences. Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in data science and machine learning. Qualifications: 1-3+ years of experience working as a Data Scientist or similar role. Strong proficiency in programming languages like Python, R, or Scala. Experience with machine learning libraries and frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, Scikit-learn). Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Effective communication and collaboration skills. Bonus points: Experience with cloud-based data platforms and tools (e.g., AWS, GCP). Open-source contributions or personal projects showcasing your skills.
