The Engineering (Tech) Team is responsible for all Feedzai product development. Together with Product Management and Data Science, we build the next generation of tools to catch fraud in real-time with a machine learning first approach. You

We are looking for a Software Engineer with a knack for building large scale, cloud native data processing systems to help us with the design, implementation and operation of Feedzai’s data platform.

You’ll play a critical role in the development of the platform that is used across the organization to build AI-powered financial crime-fighting products.

Your Day To Day

• Design new large scale data processing systems from the ground up
• Code and review new and existing data platform features, usable by all other product engineers at Feedzai
• Operate the systems you and your team built as always-on, self-serviceable cloud services
• Collaborate with other engineers, product managers, researchers, data scientists and other colleagues to ensure Feedzai’s roadmap execution
  
  

You Have & You Know-how

• 5+ years of experience building software
• BSc/MSc degree in computer science, or a similar technical degree
• Strong coding skills (Java) and computer science fundamentals
• Experience interfacing with modern distributed systems platforms for batch processing, messaging, and scalable data storage
• Experience working in a continuous delivery environment where teams develop, deploy and monitor the changes they’re making
• Passionate desire to learn and grow
• Able to bring ideas into the team and to work out solutions to tough problems autonomously
  
  

We Value If You Have

• Experience building multi-tenant cloud services
• Experience with Kubernetes, AWS S3, AWS Glue, Trino, Spark, Kafka and Airflow
• Contributions to OSS projects

You will be immersed in our brand with training, connections, and one-on-one time with your manager. You may shadow your colleagues virtually or onsite at an office depending on where you work as you are supported through your Feedzai journey. In addition, you will have access to a ton of information to give you history, context, and all the knowledge you can handle about Feedzai and the team. Finally, you will start working on projects and collaborating on work currently being done. We can't wait to have you join the team!
