Lead Data Scientist - Athinia

Your Role:
As the Lead Data Scientist in our Athinia team within our Digital Hub, you have the unique opportunity to shape the foundation of our data-driven product offerings while also managing data science projects with our clients in the semiconductor industry. Your expertise and vision will be instrumental in conceptualizing, designing, and executing innovative data science solutions at the core of Athinia's value proposition. You will mentor and provide guidance to junior data scientists, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation, and communicate complex data findings in a clear, actionable manner to stakeholders at various levels. Staying up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in data science and the semiconductor industry, you will play a pivotal role in pioneering new approaches and methodologies within our organization. We are seeking dynamic professionals who embody the spirit of a startup - innovative, adept, and driven.
Who you are:
- Master’s or Ph.D. in Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of professional experience in the semiconductor industry, with a focus on Manufacturing, Process Engineering, or Quality.
- At Least 10 years of experience in the Data Science.
- Proven experience in managing and leading data science projects, with strong organizational skills.
- Exceptional skills in Machine Learning, Statistics, and Predictive Modelling, especially applied to semiconductor industry use cases.
- Proven ability to dive deep into unknown datasets and data sources, uncovering insightful patterns and correlations.
- Comfortable reporting complex analytical results to diverse audiences, including technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work effectively with people from various backgrounds and cultures, with a strong desire to share knowledge and skills.
- Demonstrated ability and enthusiasm for mentoring and guiding team members towards collective success.
- Ability to travel internationally to conduct workshops with customers and gather insights directly from end-users.
