ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Senior Data Analyst with Bentley, you’ll collaborate with an established team in Field Quality and with the Data Science capability to accelerate our ability to utilise data by transforming complex data into actionable insights, visualising trends and communicating findings to stakeholders.


This is a newly created role within the Field Quality team, where you will have the opportunity to drive your own self-development; you’ll have the opportunity to practice modelling and Machine Learning techniques as you tailor solutions to align with our business goals. The role is also responsible for defining the future Field Quality data analytic strategy and requirements, and working cross-functionally to ensure that they are delivered by the relevant functions.


The Field Quality team is responsible for identifying, prioritising and steering to resolution any quality topics that occur in the field. To support this objective, the team is separated into two core areas of focus; Data Analytics and Problem Steering.


MAIN DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collaborating with the IT department and bridging the gap to ensure that the Field Quality team’s data requirements are met
  • Understanding, manipulating and analysing the data
  • Identifying, collecting and migrating complex data to and from a range of Group and Bentley systems
  • Delivering valuable business insights to stakeholders to influence decision making
  • Creating dashboards to track activities


SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

The successful person will have experience working with complex data sets and leveraging data driven insights to influence decision making.


You will demonstrate:

  • Proficiency in programming languages such as R and/or Python
  • Experience with Snowflake would be advantageous
  • Experience creating dashboards using Tableau and/or Power BI would be preferred
  • Advanced skills with Excel, VBA and Macro
  • A good knowledge of Machine Learning
  • A degree in Computer Science, Data Science or similar
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written
