Lead Consultant - Data Analyst

As a Lead Data Analyst at Thoughtworks, you will be at the forefront of our data-driven initiatives, providing leadership in the collection, processing and analysis of large datasets to drive significant business impact for our clients. Your role will encompass both hands-on data analysis and strategic leadership in the development and execution of data strategies. Moreover, you will play a crucial role in fostering data-driven decision-making, ensuring data quality across all projects. You will also provide guidance and skill development to team members, enhancing the environment of continuous learning.

Job responsibilities

• You will excel at the practice of data extraction, modeling and insight generation
• You will define the strategy for creating and communicating business dashboards, reports and KPIs
• You will use storytelling practices in dashboard construction
• You will lead data analysis, BI and data product projects
• You will collaborate with leaders from other teams to identify data analysis opportunities and form joint data-based strategies
• You will develop and implement guidelines and best practices for the data analysis team
• You will provide high-level strategic recommendations based on advanced data analysis
• You will promote a culture of evidence-based decision-making, increasing data literacy across the team
• You will be capable of building application- or website-tagging strategies aligned with product and business strategies
• You will evaluate the client's data infrastructure and propose improvements and adjustments
  
  
  

Job Qualifications

Technical Skills

• You have experience managing multiple project, ensuring successful completion within specified timelines
• You have experience leading analytics and business intelligence projects
• You collaborate with stakeholders on the development, implementation and project planning cycles of the data analytics roadmap
• You have experience managing or providing guidance to the team
• You are an expert in SQL, Python or R, as well as data visualization tools
• You have great knowledge of research techniques and satisfaction indicators, such as A/B testing
• You have experience in developing dashboards using self-service BI tools, i.e.: Power BI, Tableau, Looker, Microstrategy, etc.
