Attributions

Data Analysis and Modeling: Utilize advanced statistical and machine learning techniques to analyze large datasets and extract meaningful insights. Develop predictive models, classification algorithms, and data-driven solutions to address business challenges.

Algorithm Development: Design, implement, and optimize algorithms for data mining, pattern recognition, and predictive modeling. Continuously evaluate and improve the performance of existing models to ensure accuracy and efficiency.

Data Management: Work closely with data engineers to ensure data quality, integrity, and accessibility. Develop data pipelines, automate data preprocessing tasks, and implement data governance policies to maintain consistency and reliability.

Data Visualization: Create informative and visually appealing dashboards, reports, and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders. Utilize data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI

Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams including software engineers, product managers, and business analysts to understand requirements, define project goals, and deliver innovative solutions. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior data scientists.

Research and Development: Stay abreast of the latest developments in data science, machine learning, and related fields. Conduct research experiments, explore new methodologies, and propose innovative solutions to address emerging challenges.

Project Management: Lead end-to-end data science projects from inception to deployment. Define project timelines, allocate resources effectively, and track progress against milestones. Ensure that deliverables meet quality standards and are delivered on time and within budget.

Requirements

Master's or Ph.D. degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.

Minimum of 6 years of experience in data science or a related role, with a proven track record of delivering impactful solutions.

Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or Scala, with experience in data manipulation, analysis, and modeling.

Strong theoretical and practical knowledge of machine learning algorithms, statistical techniques, and data mining methodologies.

Experience with data visualization tools and libraries such as Tableau, Power BI or Matplotlib

Excellent problem-solving skills, critical thinking abilities, and attention to detail.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Proven leadership abilities, with experience in mentoring junior team members and leading cross-functional projects.

Familiarity with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, or SQL is a plus.

Experience in industries such as finance, healthcare, resources, or telecommunications is preferred.
