We are looking for a Scientific Data Engineer for our client in the Pharma Industry
Description of the role:
As a Scientific Data Engineer, you will be responsible for modelling and metadata collection. You will develop data models for the first set of data assets identified and store them in Ellie.ai. This is needed to ensure proper content in the first version of the data asset registry and future data catalogue. You will also collaborate with data owners to ensure accuracy and usefulness of data.
Key Responsibilities:
- Integrate frontend layers with server-side logic, ensuring seamless functionality.
- Collaborate with product owners, Architect, and other developers to define and implement innovative solutions for product visuals and experience.
- Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
- Assist setup and optimize CI/CD processes for rapid and reliable deployments.
- Assist with backend development tasks as required, demonstrating versatility across the full stack.
Requirements:
- Background in Bioinformatics, knowledge of the client's existing systems.
- Deep understanding of database structure principles.
- Experience in data modelling/analysis.
- Good collaborative skills with data owners.
- Proficiency in SQL and familiarity with other database languages.
- Experience with data visualization tools.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
